Draft of a paper I was due to present at Understanding VISUAL Music 2011, Concordia University, Montreal, Canada, 26-27th August 2011
Due to a family bereavement I was unable to attend the conference – but since the work I’d put into preparing this paper is a fairly good ‘snapshot’ of the next stage of my research I’m making this draft version available – albeit that it’s been retrospectively tidied up a little.
